At Stenbak Design Associates, we recognize that owners are not experts in this intricate process. Chances are this will be the only time you ever have to do this in your career. To ensure the absolute success of your undertaking, Stenbak Design provides you with an excellent education. And you will need to learn a lot because there is a lot to consider: there are civil and geological engineering plans, planning board issues and fire department requirements, zoning questions, land use concerns, municipal and state agencies to deal with, traffic studies to conduct, plus appraisers, insurance companies, and banks to answer to. And that is before a nail is driven and a board cut. Daunting is perhaps the best word to describe the process.
