Mike has spent over a quarter of a century within the Architectural profession. A portion of Mike's first ten years was spent in a part-time capacity as a Design Draftsman/Intern Architect while he attended college. Mike graduated from the University of Oregon in 1987 with a Bachelor of Architecture degree.
Two years after graduation, Mike became a licensed architect in the state of New Hampshire. He spent the next three years as an Intern Architect and Assistant Project Architect with David W. Cheever, Architect in Nashua, NH, and the next nine years as an Assistant Project Architect and Project Architect, also at that firm.
Mike later joined the Arenco Group, Inc. in Amherst, NH, where he spent the next four years as a Project Architect and in Project Management. While there, his responsibilities included client contact, research, building and structural design, site design/planning review, contract documents, engineering coordination, bidding and negotiation, construction administration, shop drawing and submittal review/coordination, procurement/scheduling, and field supervision and coordination.
After leaving Arenco Group in 2003, Mike joined Stenbak Design Associates, where he is now Vice President/Senior Architect, providing overall project management, from design inception through owner occupancy, for the firm's many clients.
