


Kirk has over twenty-five years of experience in architectural design and project management. He earned a BFA in Industrial Design from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1965, and a Master of Architecture from the Graduate School of Design at Harvard University in 1972. In 1977, Kirk became a licensed architect in the state of New Hampshire.
Kirk set out upon graduation and became an Exhibit Designer for Hallmark Cards, where he worked for seven years. Over the next six years, Kirk was employed as an Intern Architect for Sert, Jackson Associates in Cambridge, MA, where he assisted in the design of a Jewish Community Housing Center, among other projects. Kirk's career as an architect/designer continued at Anderson - Nichols & Co., where he spent the next six years designing elderly housing units, congregate housing, a wastewater treatment facility, as well as the Manchester Transit Station. Over the next five years Kirk was employed at the architectural firm of Hoyle, Tanner Associates, Bedford, NH, where he was responsible for the design of a range of buildings, including branch banking facilities, and schools.
Kirk took all of his experience, and opened his own firm in Concord, NH, where he was Sole Proprietor/Architect. His firm specialized in the design of retail/commercial/residential structures. Since 1989, Kirk has been an Architect with Stenbak Design Associates, Inc., where he is involved with the design of commercial buildings, from start to finish, as well as with project management.
